Its history dates back to the 1920s, when Torluf Monniche, a Norwegian engineer, founded the farm here after working on the Panama Canal project.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn the late 2000s, due to management issues, quality declined, and the farm briefly disappeared from the market. However, in 2011, ownership changed, and a new agricultural engineer was brought in to revamp the production system.
